MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness is the state of consciousness or awareness of acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations by focusing one's awareness on the present moment. Mindfulness meditation is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware without interpretation or judgment.

Mindful Practices and meditation have many benefits including, but not limited to:

-Reducing stress, anxiety, depression, pain, depression, hypertension

-Improving attention, sleep, ​mood, job burn out, life balance.

 

Mindfulness doesn't have to be limited to a sedentary, crossed leg meditation session (as wonderful as those sessions are). Mindfulness can be practiced through various meditation styles and also through everyday habits, thoughts, actions (breathing methods, guided imagery, and other ways to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.) High Vibe Sister offers flexible ways to incorporate mindful practices and meditations throughout your day, and help you stay on track toward living in a more elevated state.

SELF-LOVE

Self-love and -compassion are just as important for our mental health and well-being as a healthy diet and exercise. Loving kindness to ourselves entails being warm and understanding toward ourselves when we suffer, fail, or feel inadequate. Self-love works wonders for keeping depression, stress and anxiety at bay. Self-love is a journey as it takes regular practice, persistence and devotion.  

 

Self-love entails:

Treating oneself with understanding and forgiveness (people are not perfect), recognition of one’s place in shared humanity, mindfulness, and more...

Self-love is an incredibly powerful force.
